Because of you, our mission to provide charitable care has stayed on “course!”
For the past sixteen years, we have provided over $1 Million dollars of charitable care annually to seniors in need. This is only possible because you help “Share in the Care.”
Our annual John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity ask is always for charitable care. Charitable care costs are incurred at approximately $130.00/day; this is the unreimbursed portion of Medicaid-billed services.
Every day, dozens of residents receive charitable care. Recipients are never identified, never asked to leave, and our standard of care remains high. But we can’t give what we don’t have, so we rely on the generosity of our community.

As a nonprofit, 501(c)3 Life Plan Community, Friendship Manor has the responsibility to fulfill our mission of “Honoring our Mothers and Fathers” who live at Friendship Manor. The Manor never asks a resident to leave even if they have outlived their resources. This core value was instilled in us by our founders, The King’s Daughters and Sons. However, we cannot fulfill our mission without the help of our community.
We’re grateful for any gift you care to give. By “Sharing in the Care” you can be assured every penny of your contribution will go towards the care of seniors in need. Every single cent.
